Uganda girls’s nationwide crew head coach, Sheryl Botes, has formally named a 20-player squad for the upcoming 2025 CECAFA Ladies’s Championship, set to happen from June 12 to 21 on the Azam Advanced in Chamazi, Tanzania.
Botes, who continues to construct her legacy with the Crested Cranes, opted for a squad largely comprised of domestically primarily based gamers, with only one foreign-based inclusion, winger Margret Kunihira of Tanzanian aspect Caessia Queens.
The squad will assemble on Sunday, June 8, for the ultimate preparations earlier than flying out to Tanzania on Tuesday, June 10. Uganda enters the match because the defending champions, having lifted the title in 2022 on house soil.
