Potters Bar City instructed BBC Sport the sport was postponed “following a severe incident involving a member of our administration group”.
“Police attended the bottom and, following their involvement, the match was unable to proceed,” the membership added.
“Our supervisor is receiving applicable medical care and the membership is supporting him absolutely.
“The matter has been referred to the related authorities, together with the league and the FA, and we’re looking for formal recommendation. As that is now topic to ongoing processes, the membership is not going to be making any additional remark at the moment.
“We thank supporters for his or her understanding.”
BBC Sport understands the Soccer Affiliation is wanting into the incident.
Saying the postponement, Welling mentioned: “The membership shall be making no additional remark at the moment.
“Additional information concerning the rearranged fixture shall be communicated sooner or later.”
Welling United have been contacted by BBC Sport for remark.
Nick Robinson, chair of the Isthmian League, instructed BBC Sport: “The league is conscious of this matter and are awaiting the written studies of the alleged incident.
“We can’t remark additional at the moment.”
The Isthmian League is the seventh tier in English soccer and Potters Bar City sit backside of the desk, with Welling two locations above in twentieth.
